This Jungson JA88D(09) version is an improved version over Jungson's 5-year best selling product JA-88D which was initially launched in 2003. It comes with a symmetric balanced design, built with high quality parts, and will effortlessly output 80 watts per channel of pure Class A power into 8 ohms.
Compared to previous JA-88D, the 2009 version has added a built-in phonostage for vinyl lovers to enjoy the music the high fidelity way. User can select between moving-coil or moving-magnet by a rear switch. This new version has also added a line output for users to add in a sub-woofer to the play back system.
This is a well designed highly efficient Class A amplifier with rated power of 80wpc and heat dissipation area of total 19.5 sqft in the form of pure copper fins inside the amp. Even in the summer, this amp doesn't feel hot when touching it. You can certainly live with it all year round.
