The Opera-Consonance PM-2 MKII phono-stage is a step down from the flagship Reference40 tube phono-stage in design. Like the Reference40, besides MM, PM-2 MKII is also enable to be received the fragile MC cartridge output directly.
It features an external power transformer, Amorphous core MC step-up transformer and point-to-point wiring, but without tube rectification. The separated power supply from main unit in two enclosure and the internal layout are designed for the lowest possible noise. 12AX7 tubes allow for a wealth of tube rolling options if you need to tailor the sound to your system.
