The well known Consonance M100 model was sold worldwide for 15 years from 1993 to 2008 with great following.  Stepping into 2008, Opera audio and its satisfied M100 users, including some of its long time international distributors, worked together developed a 15th anniversary amplifier that would completely conform to the special concept of what a push-pull pentode integrated amp should sound like. This model today inside Chinese market is sold as '20th anniversary" but the Export version maintained the title of 15th anniversary to honor their international distributor's contribution.

The pursuit of the Cyber100-15 anniversary edition is music purity and the most natural reproduction of sound in an affordable integrated amp that can possibly be achieved. This amp has a superb and enchanting midrange, the result of the harmonic balance that Opera Audio has always strived for and possesses an extraordinarily smooth balance throughout the spectrum, providing a stronger impression of live music. The exterior of the Cyber 100 -15th anniversary version comes with an aluminium top cage, wood deck and a 15 anniversary logo.

The amp by default comes with EH KT88 tubes. Self-biasing KT88 works at Class A, UL operation, with a well designed NOS  tube drive stage and a time–proven rectifier circuit consisted of the 5AR4 EH rectifier tubes and Philips electrolytic capacitors (for audio). Every component chosen has been carefully selected for better audio clarity, that even goes for the German made power switch. Although the KT88 aren't triodes but, if properly applied as such in a circuit with 35 push-pull watt output, they can exhibit surprisingly good linearity, steady performance and approaching that of the real thing – something you'd expect from triode units running single-ended and powerful enough as well.

I bought this amplifier, two mnd ago.

And it is a HiEnd amp, for very little money. Even with stock tubes, it is very good, but i have added NOS Tung Sol 5687, and NOS RCA 12ax7, and now it is a wonder of an amplifier. It needs a long playing time, to settle in. Up to weeks, is what the papers from Opera Consonance says, but my amp started to shine after about 2 weeks. Before that, some melodies did not sound good at high volume. But now everything has settled in, and it is the best amplifier i have ever had. As a tube amp, it likes vocals, and accoustic instruments the best, but has no problems with any kind of music. At this low price, this is a steal.
